What's Happening at WeatherSure - November 2011

Wow! It seems like winter was waiting for a chance to sneak in and surprise everyone! I guess that “Old Farmer” from the almanac should have been a meteorologist-just like the prediction, we had a mild and sunny October and are off to a snowy start to November, and every break we get weather-wise our crews are busy getting our clients ready for whatever Mother Nature sends sour way next. Although a blast of cold and snow can be shocking, this is Colorado and we’ll still get periods of warm and dry weather-and since we need to keep our guys busy year round, and with material price increases on the horizon, the best time to get that roof replaced or those joints sealed may well be in January or February.

And, of course, the Holiday Season is fast approaching- for many years WeatherSure has participated in the Denver Metro BOMA Holiday Toy and Gift drive- last year over 110 buildings participated, placing donation boxes in the lobby and over 20,000 toys were collected and distributed to the less fortunate.  You don’t have to be a Metro Denver BOMA member to be a part of this wonderful event- call or e-mail Dave Homerding, and he can arrange for a box in your building, boxes will be “out” in the next couple weeks and Toy pick-up is scheduled for December 8th& 15th. Father Woody’s Christmas, the Jeffco Action Center, the Delores Project and many other charities benefit.
